The 2024 Officers written Promotional Examinations (PROMEX) was held from 3 to 8 June 2024 in Accra, Takoradi and Tamale.  PROMEX is an annual examination for Officers of the rank of Flying Officer and Flight Lieutenant and its equivalent in the other Services who are due for promotion to the next rank.

Prior to the written examinations, Candidates had to undergo a mandatory basic fitness test and practical promotion examinations aimed at testing their physical fitness, knowledge and ability to undertake or conduct any assigned operation or task.
