PERSONNEL RECEIVE AWARDS AT AIR FORCE BASE ACCRA DURBAR

Some personnel who distinguished themselves during the course of the year were given awards at the end-of-year durbar held at the Air Force Base Accra on Wednesday 20 December 2023.

 

 

 

The Base Commander, Air Commodore Eric Agyen-Frempong in his remarks enumerated some activities and projects undertaken during the year under review. He also commended personnel for their hard work and dedication throughout the period and advised them to continue to maintain the standards and strive for excellence.

 

 

 

Selected personnel from the various Wings and two civilian employees were given awards for their meritorious service to the Air Force. 

 

 

 

The Best Airman Operations Wing went to Leading Aircraftman Tetteh Gloria Dede who was rewarded with a NASCO 4 Burner Gas Cooker while the Best Airman Engineering Wing was awarded to Flight Sergeant Doku-Teye Ebenezer who also received a NASCO 4 Burner Gas Cooker.

 

 

The Best Airman Supply Wing went to Sergeant Attipoe-Dzaka Daniel and the Best Airman Administration Wing went to Warrant Officer Class II Bento Afelete Michael who both received NASCO 4 Burner Gas Cookers.

 

 

 

For the civilian category, the Best Defence Civilian Staff went to Mr Moses Apengonego who also received a NASCO 4 Burner Gas Cooker while a Special Recognition for Defence Civilian Staff was awarded to Mr Jacob Saah who also received a NASCO 4 Burner Gas Cooker.

 

 

The Overall Best Airman was awarded to Flight Sergeant Doku-Teye Ebenezer who received a 175L NASCO Double Door Fridge as his prize.
