GHFAC COMMENCES NON-TECHNICAL COURSE FOR AERO FIRE AND SUPPLY AIRMEN

The Ghana Air Force Aviation College (GHFAC) has commenced a non-technical course for Aero fire and Supply Airmen on Tuesday 12 March 2024 at the College’s Auditorium, Air Force Base, Accra.

 

 

 

A total of 60 participants drawn from various Bases of the Ghana Air Force would be participating in the programmme. The course which is set to run for a duration of one year and ten months will provide essential training and skills development for the Airmen.

 

 

The course is also aimed at mustering personnel into their various trades and would also cover various aspects of Aero fire and supply from general academics, basic, intermediate and advance phases.

 

 

Speaking at the event, the Commanding Officer (CO) of the College, Squadron Leader VO Asiedu in his remarks enumerated on the importance of the course in enhancing the capabilities of the students. He highlighted that, the course would enable them develop invaluable teamwork, problem solving and communication skills.

 

 

He also used the opportunity to caution the students to conduct themselves in a positive manner and abide by the rules and regulations of the College throughout the period of the course.

 

 

 

The CO also tasked the students to adhere to all the standard operating procedures of the College and encouraged them to take their studies seriously as these would prepare them to thrive in their ever-evolving trade.
