GHANA AIR FORCE AVIATION COLLEGE TO BE MODERNISED

The Chief of the Air Staff, Air Vice Marshal Frederick Asare Kwasi Bekoe has reiterated his commitment to building the capacity of personnel through training by modernising and upgrading the Ghana Air Force Aviation College (GHFAC). He made these known during a visit to the College at the Air Force Base, Accra on Friday 7 June 2024.

 

 

 

During his visit, the CAS commended the Commanding Officer and the Instructors for their hard work, selflessness, and dedication to duty. He also applauded their initiatives in maintaining the standards despite the challenges. AVM Bekoe during an interaction urged them to continue to be professional and instill discipline in their quest to train highly efficient Airmen.

 

 

The CAS was then led to inspect the lecture halls, library, and other facilities requiring urgent attention. He intimated his plans to renovate, enhance and upgrade the College with modern facilities in line with international standards. Adding that, this would enhance the overall learning environment for maximum performance.

 

 

AVM Bekoe used the opportunity to interact with the students and cautioned them against indulging in illegal and unauthorised activities. He also encouraged them to take their studies seriously and exhibit professionalism in every endeavor.

 

 

 

Concluding his visit, the CAS emphasised the need for collective efforts in transforming the College. Accompanying the CAS on the visit was the Base Commander, Air Force Base Accra, Air Commodore Eric Agyen-Frempong.
