The UK Defence Advisor to Ghana, Commander Richard Walters has paid a courtesy call on the Chief of the Air Staff (CAS), Air Vice Marshal (AVM) Frederick Asare Kwasi Bekoe at the Air Force Headquarters on Tuesday 4 June 2024. 

The visit was to enable Commander Walters to introduce himself and to congratulate the CAS on his assumption into office. He also used the opportunity to discuss matters of interest between the two countries especially in the areas of Air Force operations and training.

AVM Bekoe welcomed Commander Walters to the Air Force Headquarters and recounted the long-standing relationship between the two countries. He called for continuous dialogue and cooperation to help achieve the common security objectives.  

The CAS presented to the Defence Advisor, a customised plaque as a memento of his maiden visit.
