SUPPLY STUDENTS OF GHAFAC VISIT ZIPLINE OMENAKO FOR STUDY TOUR

Students of the Ghana Air Force Aviation College (GHAFAC) Course 16A, who are personnel of the Supply Branch of the Air Force, undertook a study tour of Zipline’s drone distribution facility at Omenako as part of their professional training.

 

 

The educational visit which took place on Thursday, 10 July 2025, exposed the students to innovative applications of drone technology in medical logistics. During the tour, the students observed real-time drone launch and recovery operations, learned about Zipline’s supply chain systems, and engaged with experts on the integration of ICT in critical logistics and emergency response.

 

 

 

 

This visit formed part of GHAFAC’s ongoing efforts to bridge theory with practice and equip its trainees with practical insights into modern supply chain and distribution technologies relevant to both military and national operations.
