The Air Force Recruit Training School at Takoradi on Friday 25 August 2023 passed out 344 new Airmen. This week we present to you excepts of the various parts of the events displayed, beginning with the award ceremony.

The following were the award recipients:

AC11 Baba-Zaah Vida was crowned the overall best recruit. She also received awards for best in tactics and academics. These were presented by Air Commodore Eric Agyen-Frimpong, Commander Air Force Base Accra, and the Western Regional Minister, Honourable Kwame Okyere Darko Mensah. She was presented with plaques, a refrigerator, an HP laptop and a 32-inch Samsung television sponsored by Enterprise Life Insurance and Service and Integrity Savings and Loan Bank.

AC11 Kangah Monica Frema won best recruit in drill, she was presented with a plaque and a 32-inch Samsung television by Master Air Warrant Officer, Master Warrant Officer Bawa Abdulai.

ACII Gbafa Happy won best recruit in weapons and skill at arms, she was presented with a plaque and a 32-inch television and it was presented by the Commanding Officer for the 2 Infantry Battalion, Lieutenant Colonel Daniel Atobrah Bondah.

Best recruit in physical training (male category) went to AC11 Babainnewuur Francis. Commander Air Force Training Command, Air Commodore Mathias Awuah presented him with a plaque and a 32-inch Samsung television.

ACII Ibrahim Rashida won the best female recruit in physical training, Director Administration for the Ghana Air Force, Group Captain Sofia Adzo Jiagge presented her with a plaque and a 32-inch television.
