NGO PARTNERS AIR FORCE FOR HUMANITARIAN PURPOSE

The Chairman of the Health and Humanitarian Aid Foundation (HHAF), a Non-Governmental Organisation (NGO), Mr Samuel Arthur and his team visited the Air Force Headquarters on Wednesday 24 January 2024.

 

The purpose of the visit was to establish a rapport with the Air Force and to also announce to the Chief of the Air Staff their intended donation of a fire tender to the Air Force Base Takoradi.

 

 

In an interview with Mr Cobis Kwakumey, an aide to the chairman of HHAF, he revealed that the NGO will offer training to personnel assigned to operate the fire tender. Additionally, Mr Kwakumey expressed optimism in partnership with the Air Force stating that, they were also willing to offer any assistance towards promoting their humanitarian agenda.

 

 

The Health and Humanitarian Aid Foundation is an NGO dedicated to providing medical and humanitarian aid to less privileged communities and those whose lives have been affected by famine, poverty and disaster in Ghana.

 

Over the years, the NGO has undertaken a number of humanitarian programmes focusing on education, agriculture, water and women empowerment.
