MAWO HOLDS MAIDEN MEETING WITH BASE WARRANT OFFICERS

The Master Air Warrant Officer (MAWO), MWO Bawa Abdulai has held a meeting with all Base Warrant Officers (BWOs) on Monday 14 January 2024 at the Air Force Headquarters.  The agenda for the meeting was to discuss issues of interest to the Ghana Air Force which focused on administration, discipline and leadership. 

 

 

Addressing the BWOs, MWO Bawa highlighted on ways of administering the various Bases to align with the CAS’s vision to become a ‘SMART’ Air Force. He said, the speed at which the CAS is passionately addressing the welfare issues of airmen is highly appreciated and therefore needs the collective commitment of Senior Non-Commissioned Officers to achieve this feat.

 

 

During the meeting, MAWO spoke extensively on discipline and conduct of airmen and also their attitude towards work. He said it is important for the Base Warrant Officers to ensure that the efficient and effective running of the Bases are kept with the utmost dedication, commitment and selfless service.

 

 

As part of the meeting, the BWOs met with the Chief Staff Officer, Air Commodore Eric Yirenkyi in his office. He commended them for their dedicated service towards the Air Force and also urged them to continue with the good work thus far.
