The Chief of Kokwaado in the Central Region, Nana Kwansah III, has donated two motorbikes and three bicycles to Air Force Base Takoradi (AFB Tak) at the Base Headquarters on Wednesday, 3 December 2025.

Presenting the items, Nana Kwansah III explained that the gesture was made possible through the initiative of Corporal Ahmed Shuaibu, who had appealed for support to enhance the Base’s internal operations, including patrols and the execution of official errands. He further pledged to continue supporting the Base with additional items in the future.

Receiving the donation on behalf of the Base, the Base Commander, Air Commodore Eric Yirenkyi, expressed profound appreciation to the chief and his elders for their generosity. He noted that the donation would significantly improve operational efficiency and strengthen the already cordial relationship between the Base and the traditional authorities of Kokwaado.

Air Commodore Yirenkyi also commended Corporal Armed Shuaibu for his commitment and good initiative towards the betterment of the Base. He assured him that such good work and selflessness would not go unrewarded.
