The Italian Defence Attaché to Abuja, Colonel Davide Rosellene on Monday 13 May 2024 visited the Air Force Headquarters. As part of the visit, he paid a courtesy call on the Chief Staff Officer (CSO), Air Commodore Eric Yirenkyi who welcomed him to the Headquarters.

During the meeting, Colonel Davide Rosellene expressed his gratitude to the CSO for the warm welcome. He stated that the purpose of the visit was to discuss matters of mutual interest and strengthen the existing relationship between both countries.

Air Commodore Yirenkyi in his remarks highlighted the importance of collaborating in addressing shared security challenges. Both Officers expressed the desire to further deepen the ties through continued dialogue.

The meeting concluded on a positive note, with a reaffirmation of the commitment to working together towards common security objectives.
