Air Force Base Tamale held its end-of-year inter-wings quiz competition on Tuesday 19 December 2023 at the new hangar of the Air Force Base Tamale.

The purpose of the competition was to test troops knowledge on the history of the Ghana Air Force and also promote the spirit of healthy competition and camaraderie among personnel. Contestants for the quiz competition were drawn from the Flying, Engineering, Supply and Administrative Wings of the Base.

Gracing the occasion, the Base Commander, Air Commodore JL Mensah-Larkai commended personnel for the hard work and sacrifice over the period. He also advised personnel to continue to maintain the high standards of discipline and enjoy the festive season with caution. 

After a keenly contested competition, the Administrative Wing emerged winners, followed by Engineering, Flying and Supply respectively.
