GHFAC COMMENCES HELICOPTER TYPE-RATING COURSE

The Ghana Air Force Aviation College (GHFAC) held an opening ceremony for a 4-week MI-17 type-rating course on Friday 14 June 2024 at the Air Force Base Accra.  A total of 20 personnel drawn from the various Bases are participating in the course which is aimed at enhancing their knowledge, skills, and competence to carry out maintenance work on the MI-17 helicopters.

 

 

In his remarks, the Guest of Honour, Wing Commander Joseph Ntiamoah, urged the participants to approach the training with the utmost dedication and commitment. He tasked them to acquire the expertise as the Ghana Air Force would rely on them and the responsibility of upholding excellence will fall on their shoulders.

 

 

Wing Commander Ntiamoah while wishing the participants all the best in the course advised them to heed the rules and regulations of the school and give their instructors the maximum cooperation to derive the fullest benefits.
