GHF SUPPORTS EXERCISE FLINTLOCK AND AFRICAN LION

The Ghana Air Force has once again demonstrated its readiness and commitment to promoting peace and security in the Region by providing vital air and ground support to two major military Exercises; FLINTLOCK and AFRICAN LION.

 

 

The Exercises taking place concurrently from 13 – 24 May 2024 are aimed at strengthening the ability of nations in the Region to counter violent extremist organisations and while enhancing the readiness of partner nations to collaborate across borders to provide security.

 

 

During both Exercises, the Ghana Air Force will be providing crucial air support by transporting personnel and logistics to and from the various staging areas. Additionally, providing ground support to the various foreign Air Forces playing a key role in this multinational Exercise.  

 

 

The Ghana Air Force's participation in these Exercises showcases its capabilities and readiness to work with other partner nations in responding to security challenges in the Region. The air and ground support provided is crucial in achieving the objectives of the Exercises and ensuring the safety of all participants. This has strengthened military cooperation and ties between Ghana and other partner nations.

 

 

The participants who are made up of about 1,300 are from over 30 countries taking part in this annual Exercise.
