GHANA ARMED FORCES CLERGY PAY COURTESY CALL ON CHIEF OF THE AIR STAFF
The Ghana Armed Forces Clergy, led by the Director General of Religious Affairs, Brigadier General Benjamin Godson Kumi-Woode, paid a courtesy call on the Chief of the Air Staff, Air Vice Marshal Eric Agyen- Frempong, on Tuesday, 6 January 2026, at the Air Force Headquarters.

The purpose of the visit was to offer prayers and seek God’s guidance, wisdom, and protection for the Chief of the Air Staff and the Ghana Air Force as they enter the New Year.

Speaking on behalf of the delegation, Brigadier General Kumi-Woode explained that the visit formed part of the clergy’s annual engagement with the senior leadership of the Ghana Armed Forces. He noted that the clergy’s mission was to invoke divine blessings for good health, sound leadership, and continued success for the Ghana Armed forces. He also expressed appreciation to the military high command for its support toward the construction of a new office complex for the Department of Religious Affairs.

In his remarks, Air Vice Marshal Eric Agyen-Frempong expressed gratitude to the clergy for the visit and the prayers offered. He acknowledged the vital role of the clergy in fostering moral values, spiritual well-being, and national unity within the Armed Forces, and assured them of his continued support.

The visit brought together Religious Directors from the various Services, as well as chaplains representing different Christian denominations.
