GHANA AIRPORT COMPANY LIMITED DELEGATION CALLS ON CAS

A five-member delegation from the Ghana Airport Company Limited (GACL) have visited the Air Force Headquarters on Tuesday 10 October 2023. The purpose of the visit was to strengthen the existing collaboration between the two institutions in the area of Ghana’s aviation.

 

The delegation led by the Managing Director (MD), Mrs Pamela Djansor- Tetteh, first paid a courtesy call on the Chief of the Air Staff (CAS), Air Vice Marshal Frederick Asare Kwasi Bekoe in his office.

 

 

The CAS welcomed the team and assured them of the support of the Ghana Air Force to help secure the country’s aviation security. He stated that, the Air Force will continue to collaborate with the GACL so as to ensure the effective execution of their mandate.

 

He mentioned that the GACL has an image that needs to be maintained hence the need for an MRO (Maintenance, Repair and Operations) to be constructed which will enhance their operational capabilities.

 

 

 He was optimistic that the processes leading to the MRO project will be smooth in order to achieve this remarkable feat during his tenure of office.

 

AVM Bekoe expressed his appreciation to the GACL for all the support and training they were giving to Airmen in the area of Airport Security. He further expressed his gratitude to them for supporting the Takoradi base with scanners.

 

On her part, Mrs Pamela Djansor- Tetteh expressed her gratitude to the Ghana Air Force for their continuous support.

 

 

According to the MD, she knows the GACL can always count on the Air Force in the area of security whenever the occasion presents itself. She added that they will continue to call on the Air Force for their knowledge and guidance.

 

Accompanying the MD of the GACL were Mr Paul Adom Otchere, Mr Kodwo Egyir-Danso, Mrs Philomina Jam and Mr Gordon A Wiru.
