GHANA AIR FORCE SUPPLY AND ENGINEERING BRANCH HOLDS CONSULTATIVE MEETING WITH JUHI

The Supply and Engineering Branch of the Ghana Air Force held a consultative meeting with a delegation from the Joint User Hydrant Installation (JUHI) led by Mr Kwabena Amoahene on Wed 09 August 2023 at the Air Force Headquarters.

The meeting was to enable JUHI make a presentation on the change of the filtration system of the fuel bowsers. This is in line with the Joint Inspection Group Limited (JIG) directive for all operators who use the filter monitor filtration elements to withdraw from the old JIG Standards to a new system with effect from 1 July 2023.

 

In compliance with this directive, the Ghana Air Force initiated a consultative meeting to discuss the technical requirements and specifications needed for the new system. This is to ensure that it was compliant with aviation standards and safety.

Presiding over the meeting was Wing Commander Mark Odarlai France, Acting Director Supply. In attendance were some members from the Supply and Engineering Branch from the Headquarters and the Supply and Engineering Wing from the Base. Other members of the meeting were from JUHI and Ghana Oil (GOIL).
