GHANA AIR FORCE PARTICIPATES IN THE 69TH INDEPENDENCE DAY ANNIVERSARY PARADE

The Ghana Air Force played a remarkable role in a colourful and synchronised parade held to commemorate Ghana’s 69th independence day Anniversary under the theme: “Building Posterity, Restoring Hope”, marking a future of discipline, inclusiveness,vision,resetting our values and inspiring hope.

 

 

The national celebration held on Friday 6 March 2026 at the Jubilee House in Accra, brought together high profile personalities including former presidents, senior government officials, members of the military command, heads of other security services, traditional leaders and members of the diplomatic corps.

 

 

In his Anniversary address, His Excellency President John Dramani Mahama encouraged citizens to place the country’s interest above tribalism, personal sentiments and also foster national culture of integrity.

 

 

The memorable ceremony featured a traditional inspection of parade by the President, lighting of the perpetual flame, poetry recitals and display of cultural dance by some selected schools in the country.
