GHANA AIR FORCE PARTICIPATES IN THE 3RD INTERNATIONAL MARITIME DEFENSE EXHIBITION AND CONFERENCE

The 3rd International Maritime Defense Exhibition and Conference (IMDEC) has kicked started in Burma Camp with the opening ceremony and launch of the National Integrated Maritime Strategy of Ghana by the President and Commander in Chief of the Ghana Armed Forces, HE Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.

 

 

Taking Place from 28 – 30 August 2023, IMDEC will feature the largest gathering of Africa’s maritime industry as well as regional and international Chiefs of Naval Staff to address the principal issues facing maritime security on the continent.

 

 

The Ghana Air Force as a stakeholder is taking part in this important event which will also feature a massive exhibition of solutions from across the globe to help maritime and naval industries find appropriate solutions to their challenges and threats and discover the new technologies to better fight against and curb illicit activities at sea.

 

 

IMDEC 2023 will also showcase the latest technologies in maritime security and strong resolutions and recommendations to surmount the daunting maritime challenges confronting Africa’s blue economy.
