GHANA AIR FORCE DEMONSTRATES CARE AND SOLIDARITY WITH HOSPITALISED PERSONNEL
A team from the Air Force Headquarters and Air Force Base Accra, led by the Deputy Chief Staff Officer in charge of Administration, Air Commodore Sofia Adzo-Jiagge, on Wednesday, 31 December 2025, visited Air Force personnel, Defence Civilian Employees, and their families who are currently receiving medical care at the 37 Military Hospital.

The visit formed part of the Ghana Air Force’s planned yuletide activities aimed at commiserating with personnel on admission and reaffirming the Service’s commitment to their welfare. The team visited several wards, including the Neurosurgery Ward, Anoff Ward, Yaa Asantewaa Ward, and the Paediatric Emergency Unit.

During the visit, Air Commodore Jiagge and her team interacted warmly with patients and their relatives, offering words of encouragement, comfort, and moral support as they undergo treatment and recovery.

As a gesture of goodwill, gift hampers and cash donations were presented to the patients to provide additional support and ease their stay at the hospital.

The visit was warmly received by both patients and hospital staff, who expressed appreciation for the concern and compassion demonstrated by the Air Force leadership.
