The Ghana Air Force successfully wrapped up a three-day officers convention, which centered on the theme, building resilient and capable officers for operational excellence on Friday 10 April 2026 at the Air Force Base Accra.The event brought together key personnel and leadership within the Air Force, providing a platform for collaboration, learning, and strategic discussions.

In his address, the Guest of Honour, the  Chief of the Air Staff, Air Vice Marshal Eric Agyen-Frempong, addressed the officers with insights on leadership and the future of the Ghana Air Force. His remarks focused on the Ghana Air Force's commitment to professionalism, excellence and discipline in achieving operational goals in serving the nation.

The CAS  stated that the strength of the Ghana Air Force lies not only in its platforms or structures, but fundamentally in its officers and he urged them to embrace the lessons learned during the convention and implement them in their daily duties.

He  expressed his sincere appreciation to the Base Commander, Air Force Base Accra, the Planning Committee, Resource Persons, Facilitators and all who contributed to the successful planning and execution of the Convention.The CAS said, he is particularly encouraged by the level of participation, the openness of the discussions, and the practical insights shared.

This reflects a maturing officer corps that is not only willing to execute, but also to think critically, reflect and contribute meaningfully to institutional development.

He further expressed confidence in the calibre of officers who gathered for the convention and assured the audience that the Service is well-positioned to meet its present and future challenges.The convention not only served as a vital platform for fostering professional development among the officers but also reinforced the Ghana Air Force's commitment to operational excellence as it continues to adapt to evolving challenges in national defence.
