GAFCSC COMMANDANT HIGHLIGHTS INTEGRATION AS KEY TO FUTURE WARFARE

The Commandant of the Ghana Armed Forces Command and Staff College (GAFCSC), Major General (Maj Gen) Matthew Essien, has emphasised the importance of agility, innovation, and integration in future warfare. 

 

He highlighted these elements as essential for effective military strategy and operations in the evolving landscape of global conflict during the closing of the 2024 Multi-Domain Operations and Future Warfare Module, held from 27 May to 14 June 2024 at the College in Teshie.

 

 

Maj Gen Essien emphasised that adaptability and flexibility are crucial in the face of evolving threats and challenges. He encouraged participants to apply comprehensive operational approaches discussed and leverage domain strengths to enhance military effectiveness. He charged them to utilize the knowledge gained with diligence and foresight in their future endeavours, believing in their potential to significantly shape the future of warfare.

 

 

The course brought together participants from Senior Command and Staff Course 45 and various security agencies to explore the complexities of modern warfare, including the fusion of capabilities across land, sea, air, space, and cyberspace.
