
AIR FORCE BASE ACCRA HOLDS ORIENTATION FOR NEWLY COMMISSIONED OFFICERS
The Air Force Base Accra has commenced its Regimental Orientation Training (ROT) for newly commissioned Air Force Officers of Regular Career Course Intake 63, starting on Monday, 2 June 2025. The mandatory program is designed to familiarize the new officers with the base’s operations, standards, and expectations.
The orientation marks a transformative period intended to test, refine, and elevate the officers into leaders of the highest caliber, following their recent graduation from the military academy.
Squadron Leader Kwabena Bremang Annang, the Course Commander, warmly welcomed the officers and emphasized the importance of discipline, professionalism, and teamwork in the Air Force.
He stated that the officers would undergo a series of lectures, lessons, practical demonstrations, and visits to help them appreciate the history and culture of the Ghana Air Force and the Ghana Armed Forces as a whole.
He urged them to give their best, be resilient, and approach every endeavor with a learning mindset, noting that the orientation forms the foundation for the towering careers they aspire to build in the Ghana Air Force.
The Guest of Honour for the occasion, Wing Commander Frank Ofosu Darko, stated that over the next six months, the officers would be immersed in the traditions, values, and operational excellence that define the Air Force.
