The Director of Resettlement, Colonel (Col) Joseph Kobla Buame on Tuesday, 20 March 2024 said the Ghana Armed Forces provident fund had performed creditably over the period. Col Buame made these statements while presenting the performance of the fund to personnel of the Air Force Base Takoradi. 

During the presentation, Col Buame said that the Fund would continue to flourish and cater for the needs of contributors. He applauded the efforts by the board of trustees in ensuring the success of the fund.

He also advised personnel on retirement and the need to adequately prepare for it. He indicated that retirement was inevitable and that personnel must put in measures to be able to retire comfortable.

Col Buame also urged personnel to scrutinize their account statements and report any errors to the Fund manager for correction.

A representative with the Service Integrity Savings and Loans mentioned the benefits of doing business with the bank. He explained that the bank was set up for personnel and that it was the equity that provided dividends for the provident fund to run smoothly.
