The Ghana Armed Forces (GAF) has successfully concluded its three-day "Exercise Resolute Synergy 2026" marking a significant milestone in the nation's ongoing commitment to defence preparedness and operational efficiency on Thursday 27 August 2026, Burma camp.

The joint table exercise, themed "enhancing preparedness through joint training" was designed to test the GAF coordination and tactical readiness of the nation’s security apparatus.

In his closing remarks, the Chief of the Defence Staff (CDS), Lieutenant General William Agyapong lauded the commitment displayed by all participants. He specifically highlighted the critical role of robust decision-making processes under pressure, noting that the complexities encountered during the exercise served as a vital test for command and control structures.

He also acknowledged the importance of teamwork and collaboration within the different branches of the of the Ghana Armed Forces, which was evident during the exercise.

Lieutenant General Agyapong emphasised on the need for effective logistics management to ensure the smooth running of operations. He noted that the lessons learned during the exercise regarding resource management and deployment would be integrated into future operational doctrine to ensure GAF maintains peak efficiency.

The event concluded with the CDS expressing his profound gratitude to the Service Chiefs and the various coordinators who meticulously planned and executed the exercise. He commended their leadership and foresight, which were pivotal in ensuring the training met its strategic objectives.
