FLIGHT COMMANDERS COURSE COMMENCES

The Ghana Air Force (GHF) has commenced the first batch of the Flight Commanders Course at the Ghana Air Force Aviation College (GHFAC) on Wednesday 3 January 2024 at the Air Force Base, Accra.

 

 

Scheduled to take place from 3 to 23 January 2023, the participants, made up of 20 Officers drawn from various units within the Ghana Armed Forces will be introduced to minor staff work while enhancing their expertise in air operations within GHF.

 

 

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Director Training at the Air Force Headquarters, Group Captain John William Quainoo, stated that the initiative underlined the commitment of the Air Force to continually enhance the professional development of its Officers. This he stated will ensure that they were well-prepared to tackle the dynamic challenges of modern air operations.

 

 

He also advised the participants to stay committed and dedicated throughout the course which would significantly improve their professional growth before they depart to their various units.

 

 

This initiative not only reflects the Air Force's emphasis on training and development but also reinforces the pivotal role it plays in safeguarding the nation's airspace and contributing to regional security and stability.

 

 

Present at the opening ceremony were the course facilitators, Squadron Leader J Akuamoah-Boateng, Squadron Leader DSL Holm and Squadron Leader V Asiedu.
