Executives of the Air Wives Organisation (AWO), led by the President, Mrs Fanny Agyen-Frempong have called on the Chief of the Air Staff (CAS), Air Vice Marshal (AVM) Frederick Asare Kwasi Bekoe at the Air Force Headquarters on Friday 12 January 2024.

According to the president of AWO, the visit was to thank the CAS for the enormous support offered them during the festive season, especially in the conduct of their annual Christmas street bazaar.

AVM Bekoe on the other hand welcomed the Executives and assured them that his office was always open to assist them in their activities. He further advised them to consolidate the gains of the street bazaar by leveraging on the networks established during the period to help increase the sales of their wares.

“As wives of Airmen, I urge you all to maintain a united front in all your endeavours to support your husbands. In line with your itinerary for the year, I entreat you to come up with more innovative activities to nurture and build upon the talents of your members”, he added.

The wives presented a plaque to the CAS as a symbol of their appreciation.
