CZECH AMBASSADOR PAYS COURTESY CALL ON CHIEF OF THE AIR STAFF

The Chief of the Air Staff (CAS), Air Vice Marshal Eric Agyen-Frempong, received the Ambassador of the Czech Republic to Ghana, His Excellency Pavel Bilek, for a courtesy call on Thursday, 9 July 2026, at the Air Force Headquarters.
The visit aimed to strengthen the cordial relations between the Ghana Air Force and the Czech Republic while exploring areas of mutual cooperation in defence and aviation.

During their interaction, the two sides exchanged views on several defence-related issues, with a particular emphasis on enhancing bilateral military cooperation. They also explored opportunities for collaboration in the aviation sector, including aircraft acquisition, maintenance, technical support, and capacity building to strengthen the operational capabilities of the Ghana Air Force.
Air Vice Marshal Eric Agyen-Frempong expressed appreciation to the Ambassador for the visit and reaffirmed the Ghana Air Force's commitment to fostering strategic partnerships that contribute to national and regional security.
His Excellency Pavel Bilek also reiterated the Czech Republic's readiness to deepen cooperation with the Ghana Air Force, particularly in areas that would promote defence modernisation and the development of aviation capabilities.

The meeting underscored the shared commitment of Ghana and the Czech Republic to strengthening bilateral defence relations and advancing cooperation in areas of mutual interest.
