The Chief of the Air Staff, Air Vice Marshal, FAK Bekoe has held separate meetings with the Defence Attaché of Nigeria to Ghana, Colonel Mukhtar Shehu Mukhtar and the USA Chief of the Office of Security Cooperation for Ghana, Togo and Benin, Lt Col James M Lambright at the Air Force Headquarters.

The purpose of the meetings were to discuss issues of mutual benefit in the areas of training, intelligence sharing and capacity building. It was also to strengthen the already existing bilateral relations between the countries. The DA Nigeria also presented a plaque to the Chief of the Air Staff as a memorabilia of the cordial relationship between the two institutions.
