A 3-week drill cadre has commenced for 15 Air Force drill instructors at the Drill and Duties Training School, Whistler barracks at Teshie, Accra.  The cadre started on Monday 17 July 2023 and is expected to end on Saturday 5 August 2023.

The aim of the cadre is to refresh and equip the drill instructors with the modern trends in drill and essentials of unit administration. It is also meant to sharpen the participants turn out, bearing and the execution of the various sequences of drill.

As a way of enhancing their experiences, knowledge and administrative abilities, the cadre is also expected to broaden the participants professional outlook for effective leadership and prepare them for the responsibility of being the vital link for Command within the Air Force.
