BURKINA FASO CAS VISITS AIR FORCE HEADQUARTERS

The Chief of Air Staff (CAS) of the Burkina Faso Air Force, Lieutenant Colonel (Lt Col) Christian Ouattara has paid a visit to the Air Force Headquarters (AFHQ), Burma Camp on Wednesday 3 January 2024.

 

 

On arrival, Lt Col Ouattara was welcomed by the Chief Staff Officer AFHQ, Air Commodore Eric Yirenkyi who led him to meet the Chief of the Air Staff, Air Vice Marshal (AVM) Frederick Asare Kwasi Bekoe.

 

 

During the meeting, Lt Col Ouattara mentioned that he was in Ghana for a meeting and deemed it appropriate to call on the Air Force Command. “This is my first time in Ghana and I am pleased with the reception and hospitality. I believe this meeting will boost the ties and cooperation that exist between the two countries. Going forward, I hope we can collaborate more in sharing ideas that will be beneficial to both countries” he added.  

 

 

On his part, AVM Bekoe thanked Lt Col Ouattara for the visit and called for more collaborative efforts in line with training, capacity building of personnel, and fostering lasting friendships.

 

 

Lt Col Christian Ouattara was accompanied by his Chief of Air Maintenance, Lt Col Aristide Sanon and Staff Officer Captain Zala Ahmed.
