AIR WIVES ORGANISATION PAYS COURTESY CALL ON THE CHIEF OF THE AIR STAFF

A six-member delegation from the Air Wives Organisation (AWO) led by the President, Mrs Edem Anerson, paid a courtesy call on the Chief of the Air Staff (CAS), Air Vice Marshal Eric Agyen-Frempong on Wednesday, 25 February 2026 at the Air Force Headquarters.

 

The purpose of the visit was to extend greetings to the Chief of the Air Staff and to convey the organisation's best wishes for the year.

 

 

Speaking on behalf of the delegation, Mrs. Edem Anerson expressed appreciation to the Chief of the Air Staff for his continuous support and commitment to the welfare of personnel and their families.

 

The delegation also used the opportunity to outline some of their ongoing activities and initiatives aimed at promoting unity, social support, and community development among Air Force families.

 

 

 

In his response, the CAS, Air Vice Marshal Eric Agyen-Frempong commended AWO for the vital role in complementing the efforts of the Service, particularly in enhancing family cohesion and morale within the Air Force community.  He reaffirmed the leadership’s commitment to collaborating with the organisation to advance shared goals.

 

The visit concluded with the organisation presenting a customised plaque to the CAS in appreciation of his support.

 

 

Accompanying the President were the Vice President, Mrs Sheila Mensah, Secretary, Mrs Helena Adjwoa Galley and the Magajia, Mrs Sarah Sorkpor.  The Assistant Magajia, Mrs Mercy Adade and the Treasurer, Mrs Rita Ayittey were also present.
