AIR TRAFFIC CONTROL COURSE 16B COMPLETES PRACTICAL ASSESSMENT

A week-long practical assessment for students of Air Traffic Control course 16B at the Ghana Civil Aviation Training Academy (GATA) came to a successful conclusion on Friday, 20 February 2026 at the Kotoka International Airport.

 

 

The assessment tested trainees on their ability to apply theoretical knowledge to real aviation scenarios, focusing on operational competence, sound decision-making, and strict adherence to safety standards.

 

 

The Chief Instructor of the GATA, Mr Edmund Adamtey, commended the students for their performance and encouraged them to continue studying aviation materials, noting that industry documents and procedures are regularly updated.

 

 

On behalf of the course, Leading Aircraftman Okayi Eunice delivered a vote of thanks and presented a Fugu to the Chief Instructor as a gesture of appreciation and goodwill, highlighting the trainees’ gratitude for the guidance received.
