Air Force students of the Senior Command and Staff Course 45 at the Ghana Armed Forces Command and Staff College, have joined forces in a high-stake exercise code- named 'EX Mofiamo'.

The exercise which started from 13 to 20 March 2024 forms part of the course package aimed at assessing the command and control capacity of future military leaders in simulated wartime scenarios.

Under the watchful eyes of seasoned instructors and officers, participants engaged in a series of complex simulations designed to challenge their strategic thinking, communication skills and decision-making abilities. From coordinating airstrikes to managing ground operations, the students faced a myriad of scenarios mirroring real-world combat situations.

 The exercise also showcased the interoperability and synergy among the Air Force, Army and Navy, highlighting the effectiveness of joint operations in achieving strategic objectives.

The Course is made up of 98 students out of which 16 are Air Force students from Ghana, Nigeria and Zambia.
