The Air Force Base Accra was a bee hive of activity amidst the display of happiness and joy as personnel exchanged pleasantries with their family members who arrived via an Air Force aircraft after being airlifted to the various Bases for the Yuletide period. 

Some Ghana Armed Forces personnel are deployed far away from their families and dependents and so a family flight is usually organised by Higher Command to offer these families the opportunity to reunite and celebrate the festivities.

This year's family flight took place on Friday 23 December 2023 at the Air Force Base Accra.
