AIR FORCE BASE TAMALE AND AIR FORCE TRAINING COMMAND RECEIVE CHIEF OF THE AIR STAFF ON HIS MAIDEN VISIT

The Chief of the Air Staff, Air Vice Marshal Eric Agyen-Frempong, paid his first official visit to Air Force Base Tamale and the Air Force Training Command on Monday, 16 June 2025.

 

 

 

He engaged with personnel of the two co-located units and outlined his vision for a mission-ready and technologically advanced Air Force capable of defending Ghana's territorial airspace.  He emphasised discipline, welfare, and personal development, among other priorities.

 

 

 

 

A key highlight of the visit was the groundbreaking ceremony for a three-storey, 24-unit accommodation facility aimed at improving living conditions for personnel.

 

 

 

The Commander, Air Force Base Tamale, Air Commodore Nana Adu-Gyamfi, expressed appreciation for the visit, noting that it served as a strong morale booster for personnel. He also reaffirmed the units' commitment to supporting the Chief of the Air Staff’s vision through dedication and professionalism.
