The Flying Group Commander, Air Force Base Takoradi, Group Captain Selase Yaya Agbenyefia has presented modern photography gadgets to the 2 Garrison Public Relations Detachment on Thursday 25 July 2024.

In her remarks, she acknowledged the important role the 2 Garrison Public Relations Detachment plays in covering the activities and projecting the image of the Base and the Ghana Armed Forces. She added that the gesture would help enhance the work of the Detachment and motivate the personnel to continue to work hard towards the achievement of the functions of the Ghana Armed Forces. Group Captain Agbenyefia however advised that the equipment should be properly maintained and kept in good condition to prolong its longevity.

Receiving the equipment, the Acting 2 Garrison Public Relations Officer, Mr Enoch TN Opata and the Head of Photography, Chief Petty Officer Class I Oku Nortey thanked the Flying Group Commander for the support.

They noted that the equipment had arrived at the opportune time and assured the Commander that it would be used and well maintained for the intended purposes. They also noted that the support would serve as motivation and boost their morale in the performance of their duties to the Base and the Garrison at large and called upon the other Units to emulate the kind gesture.

The gadgets donated included, canon 6D camera, flash, lens, microphone, tripod stand, camera bag, rechargeable batteries, hard drive, camera strap and among others.

Witnessing the presentation was the Commanding Officer Administration, Squadron Leader Sheriff Mustapha.
