AIR FORCE BASE ACCRA HOLDS END-OF-YEAR DURBAR
The Air Force Base, Accra has held its annual end-of-year durbar on Monday, 29 December 2025. The gathering brought together personnel of the base to reflect on achievements, address concerns, and strengthen unity as the year draws to a close.

The Base Commander, Air Commodore Elvis King Arneson commended personnel of the base for their dedication and service to the Ghana Armed Forces throughout the year. He encouraged personnel to sustain their commitment and professionalism in the coming year, emphasising the need to remain vigilant and disciplined at all times.

The highlight of the durbar was the presentation of awards to personnel of the groups and wings who distinguished themselves in the line of duty in the year under review. All awardees received a certificate and a table-top refrigerator each in recognition of their exceptional contributions to the success of the base’s operations.


The recipients were, Warrant Officer Class II Aseidu Moses of the Administration Wing, Flight Sergeant Kpodo Akorfa Abigail of the Supply Wing, Corporal Asante Kwadjo Amoako of the Engineering Wing and Corporal Lapan Isaac Kofi of the Flying Group. Mr Charles Andoh, a Defence Civilian Staff, was also awarded for his commitment to duty.





In recognition of the immense contributions to the general outlook of the base and welfare of personnel, members of the beautification, counselling and visitation teams also received an undisclosed amount of cash.
