The Air Force Recruits Training School at Takoradi held a Change of Status Parade on Thursday, 4 June 2026, to formally mark the successful completion of an important phase of military training for recruits undergoing basic military instruction.

The colourful military ceremony signified the transition of the recruits from the "Ginger" stage to the Intermediate Recruit status within the military training system, reflecting their steady progress and development since the commencement of training.

The parade, which is a significant event in the military training calendar, served as official recognition of the hard work, discipline, endurance and commitment demonstrated by the recruits throughout the initial phase of their training. It also highlighted the transformation they have undergone from civilians into disciplined military personnel imbued with the core values of the Ghana Armed Forces.
