The Defence Attaché of Cote D’Ivoire to Ghana, Lieutenant Colonel Coulibaly Idriss has paid a courtesy call on the Chief Staff Officer (CSO), Air Commodore Eric Yirenkyi at the Air Force Headquarters on Thursday 10 August 2023.  

Lt Col Coulibaly Idriss stated that, the purpose of his visit was to officially introduce himself as the new DA to Ghana. He recounted the long-standing friendship between Ghana and Cote D’Ivoire and looked forward to further deepening the relationship.

The Chief Staff Officer, Air Commodore Yirenkyi welcomed the DA to the Headquarters. He also noted that Ghana and Cote D’Ivoire have cooperated in areas of training, operations and in intelligence sharing. He therefore stated that the Ghana Air Force was opened to discussing other areas of mutual benefit. He also presented a plaque to Lt Col Coulibaly Idriss as a memento of his visit to the Headquarters.

Present at the meeting was the Commander, Air Force Training Command, Air Cdre Awuah.
